RPI4 (Buster) with Kodi & TVheadend freezes

Hi all,

I am currently trying to setup my new RPI4 with Kodi and TVheadend as backend for TV services. Both running on the PI4 with an attached USB-Haupage DualHD TV Tuner.
I did use the same tuner on a RPI3 before and it was runing smoothly without major issues.

Now on my RPI4 i am facing the following issues with the combination of Kodi and TVheadend

• Kodi main menu is not switching smothly via remote - this only happens if tvheadend service is active, if the menu is stuck and i turn of tvheadend service via SSH the menu runs fine again
  
  • Menu may run until the end of a list (loops throug forever)
    
  
  
  • Menu may not react at all to my remote input
    
• In addition to the Kodi menu issue i did observe problems scanning my dvb-c channels in the tvheadend gui
  
  • If I add my default muxes all scans fail by default
    
  • I need to run all indivitually to get success in scanning the muxes and afterwards find valid channel
    

Having this said i assume that the tvheadend is my main problem, but i do not know how to proceed.

Any help or ideas would be highly apprechiated.
